Mavado has performed at The Legendary Blue Holizon in Philadelphia, PA on Mar 20th, 2009. This dance was originally sheduled to be held at Rancaster Hall, but it has moved to Blue Holizon in the last minute. I live in New York, so I didn’t know the location has been changed until I arrived at Rancaster Hall! Philipa Maffia is a deejay, and is also one of the main promoter, but he even didn’t call me to let me know the changes!!! (Yo, Philipa, how long do we know each other!????)

Anywaaaaay, I worried about that many patrons might not go to new location since some people take taxi and wouldn’t appriciate those changes, but about 1,000 people came to the venue, and it was raaaammm!!!!

Philipa performed wicked, and of course, he poped champaign again, and Mavado sang a lot of new tunes!!

I like “Again & Again”, and I also like “High Ana” on [Good Life Riddim] from Daseca, but my new favorite song now is “Jailhouse” on Mavado’s new album [Mr.Brooks...a better tomorrow]!

Needless to say, the show was sell off and all his fans had really really good time!

Like you see Riddim Driven Clothing Banner in the photo, Riddim Driven Clothing crew respect Mavado & all Mavado fans, so you got remember that!

Mavado has performed at Toad’s Place in New Haven, CT on Feb 22nd, 2009. About 1,000 his fans came to the venue. The main promoter of the show was “G Money”, so eveything was organized and many patrons came early to avoid the line.

Around 12am, Mavado and the crew arrived at the venue, and he went on the stage around 12:30am.

What I have noticed was that Mavado big up all ladies by singing streight 3 big songs for all ladies! Those songs were “Squeeze Breast”, “Twice A Day”, and “Inna De Car Back”! I also noticed that Jamal “Gravy” Woolard who is the actor of “Notorious B.I.G.” was on the stage, and I think people didn’t notice it. (*Actually, I spoke to him) Needless to say, the show was sell offffff!!!!!!!! Make sure, if Mavado comes to your town, DO NOT MISS IT!

Of course, Riddim Driven Clothing supported the whole show, and some of people in side the club got special Riddim Driven giveaway bags from me!

Sean Paul & Assassin have performed at Maracas Night Club on Feb 21st, in Queens, New York. Like you can see from my photos, the show was really crazy!! (*Can you see the steam!?) I believe about 1,200 people were there!!

Assassin sang all his big tunes for streight 20 min! His new big tune on “Nuh Linga Riddim”, [Dem Nuh Want to No Gal *on new CD "Ragga Ragga Ragga! 2009"] had really strong feedbacks from the crowd, and of course people still love his international big tune [Idiot Thing Dat]. If I could have requested, I wanted to listen to his hardcore hit song [As A Man *on CD Reggae Gold 2005]. Totally, Assassin’s performace and selection of the songs were really great!

After Assassin, the super star in Reggae business, “Sean Paul” went on the stage! As soon as Sean Paul appeared, all ladies in the club gone wild!!!! Sean Paul sang Grammy tune [Get Busy], and his international hit [Tempratue], and Estelle was not there but DJ played the version of [Over Come], and Sean Paul sang his part! He really buss the place!

Needless to say, all patrons had really good time and some of them in the club got “Riddim Driven & VP Records special thunder sticks & giveaway bags”! If you see me in clubs, you better talk to me and get some’!

Mavado has performed at Sneaky Petes Night Club in Albany, New York on Feb 20th, 2009

About 1,000 his fans came and enjoyed the show! What I liked was that Mavado sang some big tunes from the previous album “Gansta for Life”, and also he sang “Dreaming”. The song is not on his album, but you can get it from “Dancehall Draft Pick” from VP Records. The song is crazy! I love it!

Of course he sang “On The Rock”, “Don’t Worry”, and “So Special”!! He also sang his new song “Again & Again” too! The show was wicked one, and I know people inside the club felt the same way! If Mavado come to your town, you should go to see him!

Of course, Riddim Driven & VP Records support this show, and some of you who were in the club, have received gift from me!

Folks, I have to apologize that I totally forgot to upload Sean Paul & Estelle event report on the blog. (*You know I am very busy person right? lol). End of this Jan 2009, Sean Paul & Estelle locked Manhattan. Sean Paul sang his hit songs like “Watch Dem Roll”, “Temperature”, “Hot Gal” and so on! I was expecting just Sean Paul alone, but Sean called Estelle from the stage, and they sang “Come Over remix”, son! I didn’t know she was there! The show was really hot! Of course, Riddim Driven Clothing & VP Records are also hot because we officially supported the show and some people got special giveaway bags from me! (* You know we are “Miles Ahead in Reggae Music & Clothing” right?)

Anyway, I apologize for lateness again, and I promise that Sean Paul is going to perform at Maracas night club on Feb 21st, so all his new photo will be on the blog within 24 hours, so keep checking!
